He has ministered to one soul and hundreds of souls and has often said that the size of the congregation is not important. To him the only thing that matters is that at least one soul is ministered to from the Word of God.
Since becoming pastor of Maybry’s Temple, the Lord has blessed the congregation to build “Jack-Bee’s Little Flock Daycare with grant money blessed from his ministry. The daycare is named after the founder of Maybry’s Temple, the late Bishop Amos Jackson and Pastor Beason. Even the name of the daycare exemplifies the kind of man Pastor Beason is. He does not forget the people of God and their labor for the Lord. He believes that we exemplify the love of God in a word and in deed.

The ministry that God has blessed in Dr. Beason’s hands is evidence of the anointing the Lord has placed on his life. Pastor has a vision for outreach to the community. Currently the ministry offers “Prevention and Intervention” services to students in the community. As part of this ministry students are tutored on Wednesday nights in all academic areas. They also receive technology training in a computer lab. The lab was revamped with new Dell computers that were purchased with grant from the Spartanburg Foundation. Weekly visits are made to local hospital intensive care waiting rooms. During these visits the Outreach Team offers refreshments and prayer to the family members of those who are hospitalized. Future ministries include the construction of a family life center that will house Adult Education Programs, English as a Second Language Program and a Community Fitness and Exercise Center.
